Good Word Gatherings

Weekly group Bible studies where Illinois Tech students open Scripture together, ask honest questions, and encourage one another to follow Jesus.

What to expect

Each gathering is conversational: we read a passage, talk about what it meant in its context, and reflect on how it applies today. You do not need Bible background to participate — curiosity and respect are enough.

  • Opening prayer and check-in
  • Reading and discussion of a Bible passage together
  • Time to pray for one another before we head out

Who it's for

Undergrad and graduate students at Illinois Tech (and friends from nearby campuses) who want to explore Christianity or grow in faith alongside peers. If you are unsure where you stand on faith, you are welcome here.

When & where

Meeting day, time, and campus room change by semester. Ask a Bible Club leader or email IIT UBF for the current schedule and location.

What to bring

Just yourself. If you have a Bible (any translation), feel free to bring it; we can also share passages on paper or screen.
